DSL offers fast internet access and is fairly comparable in speed to a dedicated T-1 line service. What's the difference? A DSL line is shared by other subscribers and is often over-subscribed. Alternately, T-1 line internet access offers you a dedicated line not shared by other subscribers, other than those within your direct network.
